Gaviscon Advance Advance Liquid Antacid 500ml

Gaviscon Advanced Liquid Aniseed is an extra-strength formula. It suppresses gastric reflux and soothes, coats and protects the oesophagus. Gaviscon Advanced Liquid Aniseed lasts for up to 4 hours and starts to work in 3 minutes.

Available sizes: 300ml, 500ml and 10ml sachets in Peppermint and Aniseed flavour.

Ingredients: Each 5 ml contains Sodium Alginate 500 mg in a thickened base containing calcium carbonate, carbomer, fennel flavour, potassium bicarbonate, and purified water.
Sugar Free Contains sweetener: saccharin sodium 5 mg/5 ml.
Preservatives: Methylhydroxybenzoate 0,4 % m/v Propylhydroxybenzoate 0,06 % m/v.

Warnings: As congestive cardiac failure may result from excessive sodium absorption, Gaviscon Advance Aniseed should be administered with caution to patients on a highly restricted salt diet|Administration of potassium may cause hyperkalaemia in patients with renal failure|Nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea and abdominal cramps may occur|Hypercalcaemia or alkalosis may occur following the regular use of calcium carbonate|Gaviscon Advance Aniseed should be administered with caution in patients with congestive heart failure, renal impairment, liver cirrhosis, hypertension, patients on steroids, hypocalcaemia, hypochlorhydia or patients on salt restricted diet.|Large doses of Gaviscon Advance Aniseed may affect the rate and/or extent of absorption of other oral medicines.

Usage Instructions: Adults and children over 12 years: 5 - 10 ml after meals and at bedtime. Children under 12 years: Not recommended except on doctor’s advice.
